Make Money Online

The problem with making money online is that:

1) everyone wants to, so its competitive

2) it takes time

3) its difficult to start

4) you are placing your trust in sites and products, most of which require a small, yet significant purchase investment

5) you may not have the technical knowledge to put it all together

So I decided to spend a significant amount of time trawling through various big name search engines, and a fair amount of lesser know ones to, to see if I could find something that was:

a) genuine

b) value for money/investment

c) gave me a fighting chance to make some money

d) gave me a fighting chance to be competitive, but without having to invest hours of my own time, hey I do have a day job to look after! :-)

So finally I came across some products which looked reasonable. But after much initial promise, the traffic and sales to my sites slowly dwindled. So just as I was about to give up on it all, and through my towel in, I read some blogs and articles from some very successful affiliate marketers, each of whom seemed to be stating the same thing.

In business the key is to differentiate yourself from your competitors. This is difficult in an on-line affiliate market place, especially if your selling or promoting similar if not identical products. But the one true point that won me round, and really connected with me, was that it was about persistence, determination, and keeping things simple. Sometimes you just want things to be simple. You don't want a seller to hark on for too long about their product.

You just want the plain facts. Hey, I know I'm in danger of doing this now! So I'll stop, and just tell you that there are good things out there, there are things that work.
