So many people are struggling to make any money online because the companies they are working for are telling them thinks like

You only need to find three, and then it is free

We will build your list for you

This site is fully automated

The reason they are saying this is to lure you into becoming a member for a while. They want you to part ways with your money, even if it is for just a few months. But mostly, the reason they are telling you this stuff is because they either dont know what to do either, or they are lying to you.
Either way, it is not a good path to be following, and in the end, regardless of the reason they are telling you the above reasons, the company will disappear or you will not get the promised downline and quit without making any money.

The best way, the most effective path to follow for making money online, is to make your very own, home made, opt-in list. To do this, especially if you are new to online marketing or are about to give it all up, is to find people who have made it and ask them for pointers.

They will say things like:

- make a lead capture page

- get an autoresponder

- have your own site (and this can mean something as small as a lead capture page)

- build your list using several advertising mediums

If you are unfamiliar with the above, dont worry, you will understand them soon enough, and over the coming months you will go from your first opt-in email address to hundreds.

Once you have a few hundred you can start doing some fun things like asking around for joint ventures with other beginner list builders. It wont be anything major, but doing joint ventures is when you start seeing quicker growth in the size of your list. Think of your list as money. It is hard to get the ball rolling, but once you reach a certain point the flow of email addresses increases faster.

It always takes effort, but like money, the jump between 0 and 1000 is about the same as 1000 to 5,000. And the bigger your list gets, the faster it grows, so long as you keep working at it.

You know the saying the rich get richer, it is the same for lists.
