Blogging and affiliate marketing can be a very profitable source of income if done right. Mixed together with a popular niche and you are off to the races. Not a lot of people are looking for variety blogs but rather blogs on certain subjects. It may be an interest, hobby or just the flavour of the day. Below I will share with you some very basic facts on building your blog for blogging and affiliate marketing.

The first and possibly most crucial step is finding a sellable niche. It's got to be something that people are looking for. Low competition would be nice but not absolutely necessary, and then of course you want to find the best products. Almost all of my products come from Commission Junction and ClickBank.

Now you have to decide where you are going to host your blog. In this article I am focusing on the newbie's so I will give you the easiest program. Blogger, to me is the way to go. As a newbie Blogger blogs are very easy to build and maintain. I have been blogging for 3 years and still love the ease of using Blogger.

Now you want to start posting to start building your blogging and affiliate marketing income. Of course keywords are a big factor in your posts. You want to have a list of keywords ready to use and you eventually want to have a post for each of your keywords. You want to use your keywords from 2 to 5 percent of your post without turning it into a spam post. To top everything off your posts should be between 2 and 500 words long.

Now it's time to start promoting your blog. You want to get it added to as many social bookmarks as possible and you also want it seen on the social networking sites like Facebook and Yuwie. You can use the link in your signature on forums. There are many other ways to get your blog out there as well. Don't be scared to be creative. You never know what you might strike on.

I know this article is very simple and truly learning blogging is a bit more detailed. But if you follow the simple steps explained you will find that it gets easier each step of the way. Blogging and affiliate marketing has and is making people a lot of money in the internet world so why not be one of those people.
